I am finally here! After almost 12 hours of travel yesterday we are finally here! I am so relieved. I must say though, I feel like I have a travel hangover or something... Yesterday I felt pretty much back to my normal self after the flu the day before but today I feel nauseous again with some diahrea and my neck aches. Plus I had a miserable night of sleep last night too.![]()
5 more days until DH gets here! I am definitely counting down the days becauser A) I do NOT want to labor/birth without him, he's my rock and B) I do not want him to miss the birth of his baby either.
It is so wonderful getting to spend time with my parents and siblings though. I am in heaven for sure. As is Kostas! He has been a ball of energy non-stop since we got off the plane last night.![]()

Glad that you survived the trip OK. I know what you mean about travel lag!
What fun that everyone is happy and excited...and able to help out and allow you to rest up! Tell Marek to hang on for just 5 more days!

Glad you made it! I hope you feel better soon and that baby bakes longer!
Just try to drink plenty of fluids and rest! Sounds like a wonderful family time!!!
I'm am definitely doing a lot of chilling to encourage Cricket to at least wait until DH gets here! LOL I have been enjoying my parents and siblings so much though. Sometimes I find myself laughing so hard that I have to hold my belly and try to stop laughing because it causes so much pelvic pressure! LMAO! For the most part Cricket seems quite content where he is though... I am starting to feel it though, I feel like I'm getting more uncomfortable by the day. Ugh. Its all for a good cause though![]()
The upside is that I am no longer feeling the effects of all the travel. So in that regard I am feeling much better!
Here's some pictures from our day of travels:
On the plane, playing with his plane
My little island boy thought these were pretty awesome! LOL
Yogurtland was the only part of the Anchorage airport that made it bearable to be there for over 3 hours...
Being silly and testing out Cricket's carseat :P

I love the pics! I can't imagine traveling at 37 weeks. I traveled to visit my dad and grandma at 35 weeks and thought I was going to die and we were only on the plane for a couple hours with one layover. You are a strong woman!Kostas is so cute.
Had my 38 week appt yesterday (and first with the midwives here). It went well. It was a pretty boring appt all in all but that's ok
My BP was 115/70. My weight has stayed the same for a few weeks. The midwife was happy to hear that my pregnancy and birth with Kostas was so uncomplicated and intervention/pain-med free. My biggest question was what their policy is on siblings because Kostas really wants to be there for the birth. Thankfully she said as long as he has his own support person then its no problem at all. Which I had already planned on for him. My mom is going to be his support person as long as she is in town and if she's not then my brother will be his support person. I have an appt next Tuesday with a different of the 3 midwives and then I will have met them all
I'm feeling pretty good still. Definitely increasing pelvic pressure but it is nice to be able to put my feet up through out the day vs working all day long.
DH gets here today either at 8pm or 10pm and I am very ready for him to be here
Kostas is really enjoying my parents dog, it makes me miss our dog though...
Kostas is loving all the Uncle time he is getting with my brother. We haven't seen my brother in 2 years so it is awesome to spend so much time with him!
Yesterday we even got to go watch my sister practice. We have no ice rink where we live so its been a while since he has been to one. Oh man how I wanted to be the one out there playing!
