Oh my goodness. I just took a video of the baby moving. It's ridiculous. It's 2 1/2 minutes like the one above, except that baby is 3 weeks bigger than DS3 was when I took the video I posted. And, actually, it doesn't hurt, it's just a little uncomfortable.

Baby has been painfully low today, I've had a couple decent contractions this evening, and for the first time this pregnancy I've lost a few pieces of mucous plug. I'd like another week, but I'm not sure how long I can handle baby feeling like he's about to fall out. Or how long it'll take to make a dent in my closed, 3+cm long cervix.

Love the belly pics. So cute. You make the cutest little boys! I can't see the video, I will log in my computer soon because I love watching babies move in bellies. And how awesome that the placenta moved. That is fantastic news. So what do you need to do this week that you want baby to wait a week? Sounds like you are having some pretty promising labor signs...mucous plug, contractions and all.

I want more time for the placenta to move more! The more it moves, the lower my risk of bleeding and the higher my chance of a vaginal delivery. But, I'm also getting excited to meet this little guy.

my 38w appointment went well! My BP was lower than the last few weeks and there was no trace of protein in my urine (not that either was ever concerning to anyone except me). I drank so much water before going today. I think it helped. The MW is very happy with yesterday's u/s and we actually talked about a natural birth plan. It's still not risk-free, but the risk is dropping. My belly is measuring right on and the MW agrees that baby's probably around 7lbs. He's apparently pretty far down in my pelvis, but I knew that already.
And I'm off pelvic rest. I wish I could come up with some good way to tell DH. I did forget to ask about the EPO. Maybe next week.

Hah. Maybe if he has to work really late tonight again and I go to sleep before he gets home.

Things are getting interesting! Last night when I got up to use the bathroom I could barely walk because baby was so low. Then, at 4:15, I was woken by a real contraction. Then another hit 10 minutes later. They jumped to 7 minutes apart pretty quickly. Some were strong enough that I thought about getting out of bed so I could handle them better. It was exactly how labor started with DS2, except that it suddenly stopped after a couple hours. DH took the boys when they woke up so I could catch up on sleep a little.

I'm glad it stopped. It's better for us if baby waits until next weekend. And I'd rather make little spurts of progress instead of startig labor with a 3+cm closed cervix. But... we're definitely going to try to finish getting ready today!

How did the rest of your day go? Do you have someone who can update for you? I'll PM you my number & feel free to text or call me any time, day or night.

And I think with this being your fourth baby, having a closed cervix when labor starts isn't going to be a big deal. Your body knows what to do.

How are you feeling today? Anymore contractions? I understand wanting to wait a week. Hopefully baby stays put a few more days to reduce your risk. But we need some baby news around here. Heehee.

Hey Virginia!! I'm sorry I'm jumping in sooo late! I've been reading back, and then i just skipped ahead to know where you're at now! I hope your feeling well today and that your LO decides to wait a little longer.
