Nothing since. Well, he sporadic contraction, but nothing unusual.
Our suspicion is that finally being allowed to DTD is what triggered them (even though they started 7 hours later?) but that my body wasn't really ready yet. We're going to take it easy this week and maybe see if we can get things going next weekend. Maybe.

The only other times I've had contractions like that were when labor started with DS2 and right after my water broke with DS3 (that time they also stopped). So, I was pretty surprised, but also relieved, that it didn't turn into labor.

still in a holding pattern! I haven't had any good contractions or any more plug for a couple days. I wonder if I can get a exam at my appointment or if they still won't because of the placenta. I expect baby to come between that appointment (39w) and the next, and it's kind of nice to get some idea where I'm starting.

Today, 38+4, is when I went into labor with DS3! It's also the days DS1 wanted baby to be born. I don't think it's going to happen.

Uh oh. I think I have a yeast infection on one nipple. I've never had one before, but it's been itchy for a while and I just noticed a few small blisters. I called my MW. I have to get this under control before the baby comes!

Hmm. The MW said it didn't sound like how a yeast infection usually presents. My prenatal appointment got moved up to tomorrow morning so they can check it out. I really hope it's not something which interferes with BFing. Or anything else bad.

I do get eczema and thought for the first few days, when it just itched, that it might be that. I have occasionally had blisters with eczema, but never on my nipples.

How is your bra fitting? The itching might be from your breast growing with the pregnancy and the blisters might be from a now-larger breast in a too-small bra. Have you changed your laundry detergent or bath soap, or gotten shampoo on that breast? Those are the simplest things that come to my mind. You can get eczema on your nipples if you have a history of that, and pregnancy is definitely a stress trigger for eczema.

well, the MW says it doesn't look like yeast or eczema (I was pretty sure of the latter). She's says they aren't blisters, just little whiteish/yellowish bumps under the skin. I'd guess they were just the glands, but I've never had them there before. She's not worried since it isn't weeping/bleeding/painful/swollen/red/itching all the time. I guess we'll reevaluate next week or, more likely, when baby's born.

Baby is LOW. I'm measuring 36cm (was 37-38cm last week) and the expectation is that he'll come before my appointment next Friday. He and I are both doing well. My fluid level was 7-8 at my u/s last week, but the MW didn't even mention it. I'm not going to worry or anything, I probably just need to drink more water.

Goals now are to rest, hydrate, eat well, and maybe get a few more little things done. And wait.
