I never thought you would go into September, Alison. I hope baby decides to make the grand entrance very soon. You are doing everything I would be doing. Try to keep positive as I am sure it can get frustrating. Can't wait to see that things are finally happening for you!

Nathan Edward was born at 2:45am Sept 3!! A lovely 8lbs 4oz and 21.5inches. Baby had mild low heart tones, so Alison transferred to hospital at 8cm. A quick ambulance ride over and she arrived pushing. Nathan was born less than 10 minutes from arrival to the L&D ward.

Alison was amazing. I have never seen a woman so determined. She pushed like a machine!

Mom and baby are both doing very well, nursing is going well. Hopefully home today around dinner.

Congrats Allison! I knew you'd transferred from FB pics but didn't know why! Sounds like it was a good call. Glad everyone's doing well. When do you get to break out of the hospital?

Alison and Nathan were doing fantastic, so they have been released and are home now.

Oh, that's awesome! A hospital bed just doesn't compare to your own when snuggling with your newborn.
