I've read 29, own 9 or 10 that I haven't read yet, and lots on that list that I still want to read. I have a much better percentage on this list than on the 1001 books. ROFL

There is something about words. In expert hands, manipulated deftly, they take you prisoner. Wind themselves around your limbs like spider silk, and when you are so enthralled you cannot move, they pierce your skin, enter your blood, numb your thoughts. Inside you they work their magic. ~ The Thirteenth Tale

I've read 42 of them...not too bad. Almost half. I'm actually pretty proud of myself...although I read most of them in school, but it still counts.

Cool...I've read almost half! (47, I think) It helped that I was an English major.

    Peace,

I'm going to say with embarrassment that I have only read 4 of those 100 books
Looks like I need to build my TBR pile with some of these.

I am reading The Lord of the Rings now so that will make 5 when I'm done with it.
