Not even heard of it. Who's the author?

Jodi Picoult is the author

I loved it. Of course the subject matter hits a little close to home. As an educator, and parent, school violence is never very far from my mind. As always, her work is so thought provoking, and she has this marvelous ability of making you care so much for her characters that you see the "grey", and not only the "black and white" of situations.

Great book!

I love the research she does so that her books are accurate. I also love how thought provoking they are! I was sooooooooo deep in thought that I feel I walked away a better person after reading it. I loved that about her book My sister's keeper as well. Ok... off to lighter reading and then I will come back to Salem Falls. I can't wait! I have to get my book alphabet done though.

(Warning to any LDS readers - there is some profanity in her books and sex scenes. Not to over done. Very realistic... I just skip over those parts but for those that prefer to avoid it all together just so you know.) It would be a pity to miss the book and the story because of it though. Wink

You've certainly peaked my interest, I'll have to check it out. I'm somewhat familiar with the authors name although I don't believe I've ever read her stuff.

Speaking of sex scenes, I totally wish that Stepahine Meyer would of been more descriptive in her books! LOL ha! Yea I totally admitted that out loud didn't I *snort*

Hi, I should re-introduce myself. I'm the choir, and I'd bet most of the gals here are singing the same thing right along with ya!!!!

Really liked My Sister's Keeper - liked Vanishing Acts and Change of Heart by Jodi Piccoult - Not a fan at all of The Pact but that's just me...

Gotta agree with you. I was so looking forward to that part.
