    Default Beach reads

Ladies, I need your help!!! DH and I are going on vacation week after next...a week of mellowing out next to the pool and the Atlantic/Caribbean! We are both pretty inactive vacationers, so I've got lots of time with my Kindle, a drink and a beach umbrella. What I don't have is a planned reading list!!!!!

I've gotten through most of the books I wanted to read recently and I need some suggestions...what are your favorite beach reads? Do you have a favorite book that isn't or hasn't been on the bestseller list? I have a passion for scifi/fantasy, don't care for horror or true-crime, but I'm pretty open on my interests otherwise. Bring it on! Only requirement is that is has to be available for Kindle, since I'm not bringing any extra paper.

    TIA!
    Jean

I am never good at book suggestions. What were the last few books you read, maybe that will help us give you some ideas though. Vacation at the beach sounds so wonderful to me right now!

The last few things I've read were The Dresden Files (wizard detective series), The Hunger Games, a couple trashy novels. Last summer I read all of the Song of Fire and Ice (Game of Thrones, etc) and a few lighter period/historical fiction. I'm planning on starting 50 Shades, but I'm up for anything at this point. All suggestions welcome!

I like lighter books for beach reads, myself. I love Sophie Kinsella. You might like Twenties Girl. I also liked The Book of Tomorrow by Cecelia Ahern, The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater, The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton.

Enchanted Inc. by Shanna Swendson is the first in a nice, light series. I think there are four books. A Discovery of Witches is a fantastic book, very long, awesome beach read.

There are some suggestions for you!

Bared to you is my new fave that I just finished. It's a kinky one like 50.
