    Default Challenge talk

So I have now read 23 books and counting. I have found that this challenge did more for me than the book club. The book list is great but I have veered off in another direction trying to fulfill the needs of the list. And my own personal needs.

How is everyone else doing with the challenge?

I had fun and read way more books than I ever thought possible I am done with 24 and I have 2 to go and I got a lot out of it, I probably won't do it next year though as I am thinking of joining an IRL book club so we will see, but I did enjoy and thought it was fun. I had to do some researching to find a couple of letters though I have my Y here and the J is on hold at the library (I'm #8 on the list) and then I will be done

Is it just for books you read or can you list audio books as well??

I totally suck rocks lately when it comes to reading, not only the selections for book club, but also the challenge. School is kicking my arse right now. I started out behind because of all the inservice on our 4 workdays, and now with technology issues, QTL meetings, student/parent meeting junk I'm falling more and more behind. I stayed at school on Monday until nearly 7 pm, and then last night until 6 pm. I completely crashed sometime around 8 last night. Today I did leave a few minutes before 5 pm.

ETA: At least I'm not alone in my feelings, all of my co-workers are echoing the same sentiment. We're all barely keeping ourselves from being completely buried by the paperwork blizzard.

Kelly - so sorry life is so hectic for you these days. I hope it slows down for you just a tad.

I will not finish in 2008, but I am interested in starting it real soon if I get this new job. Sounds like a fun fun challenge.

I missed this -- audio books are great, that's how I've been doing the bulk of my reading lately.
