Hey ladies, well on your recommendation I read the Sookie Stackhouse books, 10 books in 2 weeks! bonkers but good. I like her writing so I picked up the Ghost Sight, its good so far, I was really into my vampiers though so I am missing them a bit.

I also read the first Vampire Academy, and surpised myself by finding it quite good, defo interesting. Wanted to read the others, but they are not out until beginning of Oct in UK. So I'll have to wait.

What do you guys think of the Ghost books? Do you have any more recommendations for good vamp titles?

Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress Series (starts with Halfway to the Grave) is one of my absolute favorites.
There is something about words. In expert hands, manipulated deftly, they take you prisoner. Wind themselves around your limbs like spider silk, and when you are so enthralled you cannot move, they pierce your skin, enter your blood, numb your thoughts. Inside you they work their magic. ~ The Thirteenth Tale

I have not read too many ghost stories. Lots of vampire ones but am not opposed to something different.

I'd recommend the ghost ones, ghose sight etc. The first one is a bit hard going until the end, the second seems to be much better and I'm really enjoying it now. It could just be a pacing thing thought.

I do love me some vamps and ghosts spook me a bit, but these aren't the 'woooo hoooo boo' kind, and there's no real 'I can talk to dead people' moments, so you can relax into the book.

I'm put off by the title of the night huntress, sounds a bit domenatirx to me. Though I'm gonna pursue the first one and give myself a chance.

Thanks ladies, great to be able to nerd about books somewhere.
