Future monthly selections

May - Pope Joan by Donna Woolfolk Cross

http://www.popejoan.com/

June - Midwives by Chris Bohjalian

http://www.chrisbohjalian.com/bohjalian-midwives.htm

July - Second Glance by Jodi Picoult

http://www.jodipicoult.com/second-glance.html

I guess we could just put some suggestions on here, and then just place them in the order that they were suggested.

So if you have a book you absolutely loved, or something you've been wanting to read, post your suggestion here.

The first book suggested will be the May selection, and so on and so forth. For the time being please keep it at one suggestion.

I have read it, and it is one of my favorites, and I wouldn't mind reading it again if you or any others want it as a selection.

Someone mentioned Pope Joan a little while back and it's one I have, waiting to be read. I'd like to give that one a shot.

Peace,
Julie

Midwives for June works for me!

I'm glad we're resurrecting this...I miss my in-person book club that I stopped going to when I had the babies. Just too much on my plate and I couldn't get the books read, so I gave up my spot to someone else.

Peace,
Julie

I'm very excited about our upcoming selections!

Poe Joan sounds great, and I love having a reason to re-read a favorite!

Updated our monthly selection sticky, at the top of the board, with our new selections. July through December are wide open though, so suggest away!

This is one I've been looking at for quite some time, so I'm happy to have a reason to finally pick it up. Picoult's books usually lend themself to discussion really well too!

I could not agree with you more! I would have loved this with Keeping Faith!

I am excited about this...I have never done this sort of thing with a group!

Could not get Pope Joan from my library either. Need to try to get to a book store over the weekend.
