Thread: Heads Up

As is always the case this time of the year, I'll be around a little less for a bit. I'm at a new school and teaching a new grade level this year. I'll try to check in on the weekends and when I can.

Still hanging in there. Finished the first full week of school on Friday. So far it is going well, though I'm still overwhelmed by all the newness. New procedures, lesson plan format, grade level, area of content, co-workers, etc. Also spent most of yesterday at the ER with my oldest son, and will be headed for MRI with him on Mon. or Tue. EKG, CAT, and blood all came back good! An upside to our 7 hr. visit was that I did get to read a little. Would have probably had more reading time, but ER was especially loud and busy, probably due to the holiday weekend. I'm still reading A Discovery of Withches, and only 100 and some pages in right now. Just have had no time or energy for reading. I haven't even felt like reading at bedtime.
