I just don't know if I do! I find myself feeling so back n' forth, one minute it hs my attention the next I hate it. Sometimes I feel the drama is just a bit too much, and some of it is ohhh it just gives me the willies. I'm twoards the very end and ugh, I don't know it just bothers me! lol I want so badly to LVOE this series, I have heard over and over and over how much ppl love it. Many of them are good friends of mine who like similar books to me, but you know I could finish this book & probalby not pick up any of the others. I probably will though b/c curiosity will get to me lol Why don't I like this series! I'm begining to feel like there's something wrong with me lol

I have finished reading all 6 books. Outlander was my favorite. I did find the ending of Outlander very disturbing, though. I think if you aren't hooked by now, its not going to happen.![]()
There is something about words. In expert hands, manipulated deftly, they take you prisoner. Wind themselves around your limbs like spider silk, and when you are so enthralled you cannot move, they pierce your skin, enter your blood, numb your thoughts. Inside you they work their magic. ~ The Thirteenth Tale
ugh! The ending is disturbing? How can it get worse than what Randall did to Jamie? *shivers* Are the others as violent as Outlander?
That's what I was referring to. No, the others aren't that disturbing, but the Randall/Jamie thing does get talked about in the other books.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm Now you have me curious. But I totally get what you are saying because I feel like there is something wrong with me because I can't get into Harry Potter. I feel like I have to FORCE myself to read it - yet so many love it!
I am going to be reading Roots next. Then I might try to pick up the Outlander series. Who is the author?
Outlander is by Diana Gabaldon.
Interesting about Harry Potter. I didn't read any of them until the last one came out, but was sucked in once I started.

I read started reading HP after book 5 came out.
I went back n' forth with Harry Potter, I'd be totally into it and then I'd get bored & then get into it again. I was pregnant with Isabelle at the time so that might of had something to do with it lol I think I'm going to continue with the Outlander Series, their good and it's a nice distraction while at work ~ we'll see how it goes! lol
ETA:Okay I just finished Outlander & I'm at work, so I can't run to the stoer to get the next book. ACK!!! It ends well, I want that 2nd book now dang it lol That's just cruel, not sure if I even like the book & now I'm dying to start the 2nd one lol
ETA again ~ what order does the series go in? I'm kind of confused. Is it Dragonfly in Amber, Voyager, Drums of Autumn, The Firey Cross & then A Breath of Snow & Ashes?
