Default Looking for recommendations: letters J, K, Y

I am looking for recommendations of books you liked that start with the letters J, K, and Y - I can look them up on a list, but I thought I would check with the experts first tell me what books you enjoyed that start with letters, if you want

    TIA,
    Brenda

For K -- How about The Knitting Circle by Ann Hood

    http://www.amazon.com/Knitting-Circl.../dp/0393059014

I'm only a novice knitter, but still enjoyed the book. It's about a woman who joins a knitting group after the loss of her daughter. Each of the women has a story. I really enjoyed it when I read it and was sad to finish it.

I'll have to think on the others

also for K -- if you haven't read it, you could try The Kite Runner. Personally, I didn't like it, and stopped reading it, but so many people did love it. I really did enjoy his book A Thousand Splendid Suns though.

I did really enjoy both books and made it through the Kite Runner and really liked it as well as a Thousand Splendid Suns

Did you want them to be current best sellers?

If not...how about _Jane Eyre_ for J? It's one of my favorites.

    Peace,
    Julie
