Ideas ladies?

No idea. I have a huge stack of books, but to be honest, it really doesn't look like any of you really read the same things that I do. I will keep brainstorming, though.

How about The Road by Cormac McCarthy? He just won the Pulitzer for it.

I have never heard of it, I will go see what it is about. I am game to try anything, I dont have a lot of books that I am DYING to read or have any other ideas. I am up for anything. Worth a try, then can continue with my to be read list.

Any other ideas? or do we all say :ok: to this one?

I can have it pretty soon as well. I checked it out, but returned it to finish other books. Should have kept it!

I haven't been able to get this one from the library yet. I think it's due back around the 21'st of June, so I'll try then.

How's it going for everyone??

It is a pretty quick read, so you'll be able to finish it in time, I think.

Just a warning, there are no quotation marks. But it's easy to tell the dialogue apart.

ack mine is due Wednesday and I can't renew it. So setting book #1 aside and starting this one today. this gives me 3 days to read it, I think I can do it.

I hope I can get back into book #1 after doing so, I don't read more then one at once usually

Uggghhh, this book is so depressing to me. I can't stand thinking of a world like this, and I'm having a very difficult time making my way through it. I read it some on vacation, but it just made me want to crawl under the covers and never come out again! Lol

I agree, this book is mega depressing. And I just had a lo, so for me to read this book, puts me into major sadness.....I actually read this book cause where I live, some girls were having a book club and this was the book. Man, I wish they would have picked a happier book. But it was still really good none the less..... Lol :crybaby:
