    My mother's day present was delivered today and dh wanted me to open it even though its early. He got me a Kindle 2. I can't wait to start downloading.

    its an amazon.com "wireless reading device". You download books on it (it holds over 1500 titles), audio books, newspapers, magazines, etc. Books cost around $10 to download.

    Honestly, I didn't really know what it was either. LOL Dh thinks I have WAY too many books/bookshelves and this is his way of getting me to stop buying more.

    sounds like a really nice gift! I might need to invest in to one of these. It almost sounds like an app that I have on my iphone.

    There is a Kindle app for the ipods. And other people have made similar apps. I have one with the compelete works of Shakespear.

    And woohoo on the mothers day present.
