Thread: Preacher Series?

Does anyone else have a DH that is addicted to this series? OMG mine is going insane about it! PREACHER

It has been around forever and there was even a movie made about it.

Guy really likes the "format" of them {comic book type} and I love how he gets excited to read like I do, even though my type is waaay different than his!

If anyone has more recommendations for other books/series, similar to these ones, please let me know-I'm not sure what to do when he's finished and starts withdrawl!!

Oh and I've not been here in forever and have missed out some, but I am still reading away {still hooked on Phillipa Gregory} but am just starting "Dead Until Dark" {True Blood HBO series}.

I have not read those or heard about them so I don't know. Just reading Ever more. The immortals. Am liking it quite a bit. I will have to research and see what yours is about to make a suggestion.

My dh is into sci fi so I am always on the lookout for him as well.

I went and bought DF numbers 4-9 yesterday at lunch & told him happy early Father's day! LOL!! He is hard to get to read, and even though they are comic type, I am so happy he is reading!

The stories in them are pretty good, but WOW! Def. not your childhood comic!!

i have a couple myself, they were pretty good. if he likes the comic style and that genre he may like The Absolute Sandman series by Neil Gaiman.

Thanks for the suggestion Mara, I will have to look into that. It is hard to find a series outside of the other Marvel's, Superman and the like.
