    Default Seasonal reading

Do you read for or choose books based on the season? For example it is nearly Halloween, are your reading choices reflective of that and more spooky in nature?

I don't for mew, but I do for my son. We have had a few birthday books recently and will break out the Christmas books around Christmas etc

I like to read our holiday/season related books too with the kids. As far as me, most of the books that I have on the short TBR list happen to be supernatural in nature. I didn't work it that way purposely, just kind of fell into place that way.

I like to read seasonally with the kids, but for me I'm more of a mood reader than a seasonal reader. Still, supernatural-type books are fun for Halloween! I do find I like a bit lighter books in the summer, so I guess that's seasonal reading.
