Thread: The Shack.....

Has anyone read this? I am not trying to start a religious debate here, I was just wondering. My sister and a few other co-workers (teachers) have read this and L.O.V.E.D. it! I am hoping to pick it up after one of them is through reading it.

It's probably one of the best books I've ever read! In fact, I'm rereading it now. It's a very spiritual, but not (in my opinion) religious book.

I highly recommend it to everyone!!!

I keep picking this one up, but never do actually buy it. I'll have to though now that I've heard a good review of it!

I read it and thought it was okay. I actually didn't like the writing style; it felt too cliched. He wrote it for his kids, apparently, not to be published nationally, so that may explain the quality of writing. Some of the later stuff was neat imagery. I read it as part of my women's Bible Study.

I plan on reading it, I just need to get my hands on it. I have teachers handing me books left and right. I feel like I have so many piled up. My sister is almost through with it, so as soon as she is finished.....
