Thread: Silent Children by Campbell

Has anyone read his book? I started it but just like any other book, its kinda "eeehhh" in the beginning. Should I continue or put it back on my shelf until I start feeling it again???

Any other book recommendations? Im pretty open, just dont like westerns or sci-fi.

Wut kinda books are u in to? I love anything by Sparks Just finished Message in a Bottle...that was really good. Hmmm...wut else have I read that was fantastic?! I read a book called Duchess and it was magnificient...cant remember the author but Ima look it up real quick brb.

Its not the one that they made a movie out of though, at least I dont think. Sucks that my books are packed.

I have not read it, what is it about?

I'm always looking for new things, I'm currently reading The Book Thief and listening to Vampire Academy. I'm more than halfway through both. I have the second Sookie Stackhouse novel waiting, along with a ton of other books on my TBR pile, which is always growing.

Night is about a true story of a child who goes through the devastations of ****-era. Going from different concentration camps made him realize that it was no time for "child-like" thinking if he had any hopes of living. Dont wanna give too much away, but its def a good read. Nice and short but def in-depth on all thats going on around him.

Just realized that you may have been talking about "Silent Children" DUH!!!! lol. Im not too sure what its about yet otheer than a man who takes children away from their unfit parents...illegally. So Im not sure if they are really unfit or if he is just craaaazy craaazy!
