    Default Time/Place You Read

I know most of us read any time we get a chance, but I was wondering when you find the time to read? Do you make time to read? I was also wondering about your favorite place to read?

    Default Long time, no post

Hi...I have thought about this board from time to time but have been so busy the last couple of years that it's been really hit and miss for me to come by.

Anyway...I read very seldom right now. Unless it's a course text for the schooling I'm doing. But I have read a couple of good YA books this summer (from our 7/8 grade Battle of the Books list) and just read whenever I had any down time.

My favorite place is anywhere I can sit and hold a book!

Generally every time I have any free time, I get on the computer or read. I also do audiobooks, so can "read" while I do other things like dishes and laundry. I usually try to read every night at bed time.

I guess my favorite place to read is in my bed. In an ideal world I'd be sitting by the pool or on the beach reading daily. lol

I have three main places I read, which is why I can sometimes be reading three different books at once. One is on the train to and from work. That book generally stays in my work bag so I don't forget it. Then I read a bit while nursing my son to bed, and often leave that book in his room so it's handy. And the third place I read most often, like Kelly, is in bed. I find I often need a book to help me get sleepy. I may be tired - - usually am, lol - - but I get sleepy quicker if I read. Plus it's a relaxing part of my day I look forward to.

I love reading on a beach or while camping as well, but that doesn't happen much these days with little ones!!

Wherever I am. I take my Kindle everywhere I go so I read in the car if dh is driving. I read in waiting rooms or when my son is in speech therapy and then I read at night before bed. I try to read during the day when I can, but that is just asking for my kids to use me as a jungle gym. Reading in bed at night is my favorite though and I look forward to it. I sometimes only make it 2 pages though before falling asleep.

Lol at the 'jungle gym' comment. I have a hard time reading when the kids are around for the same reason.
