Thread: Twilight Saga: Official Guide

I went into BAM today to look for this. I thought it was supposed to be released on/around the 26th. Found out that it was supposed to release on the 30th, but now the release date has been moved back to some time in 2009, and as far as I can see the date hasn't been released. If anyone happens to see a release date, from a reputable site, please let me know. I'd hate to miss it.

Oh man, I am so bummed. My friend and I were going to go to Borders after work tomorrow to buy. Anyway, after I read this I went on over to the Borders website and they have a new release date of Feb 1st, 2009. Only a month away but I was ready to dig in this week.

BTW...my name is Pam and I am an avid lurker on this board but have never introduced myself. I am a Twihard, Twinerd whatever you want to call me. I could seriously read the books over and over. I have created many a newborn where I work. I enjoy reading other books as well though. I am currently on book 7 of the Sookie Stackhouse series, the HBO show True Blood is based off of these books. Fun read if anyone is interested.

I've not seen the HBO series, but I may have to look into the books they sound interesting!

Yeah its been pushed back a few times. Its one of my christmas presents. I bought it already just waiting for it to come.

I almost picked up the first of that series yesterday. I've heard good things about it so far. Will definitely have to add it to my TBR list.

I hadn't heard about an official guide. I'll have to look at it when it comes out.

Hi Pam! I've been watching Trueblood and LOVE it. I still haven't picked up the books. Maybe I'll get around to it soon.

Thanks for the welcome ladies! I am just about to finish the 7th book in the Sookie series. Haven't had much time for reading the last couple of days with the new years festivities and a stomach bug. The 8th book is still in hard back and I really don't feel like paying the cover price for it so I am hoping it comes out in paperback soon. I might check the library too, see if they have it in.

This statement appeared on the official Twilight saga site a couple of months ago "The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide, which was scheduled to release on December 30th, is being moved to 2009. A new on-sale date will be announced as soon as possible. As the only official guide about the Twilight Saga, we want to make this edition as special as possible.
