I've listened to most of the songs. The only one i really like is Pamores Decode. Which they released the music video of yesterday.
I havent been able to find Robert Pattinsons songs yet though. I am interested in listening to those.

Ahh! I love the soundtrack:

Track 1 - "muse song" (one day I'll know the title) AWESOME song Smile My fave Smile

Track 7 - Tremble for my Beloved. Love this one too. Give it a listen or two Smile

Track 10 - Rob's song. Yay! Can't understand that boy, but the guitar is sweet and his voice is schmexy.

Track 11 - Prom song. Has NOTHING to do with love or dancing or twilight, but I love it cuz its pretty and fun to sing.

Haven't really listened to the iTunes bonus tracks but will do soon Smile

Finally got to listen to it on the way home from work.

So glad it isn't just me, I was like WTF is he saying? I like the sound of it, but sounds as though he drank way too much before his recording session. ROFL

I like the CD overall. I kept reading what a let down Bella's Lullaby was, and well now I understand what everyone was talking about.

I listened to a few seconds from itunes and couldnt understand Robs songs either.

Still favoring Decode over everything else.

Smile He sounds even more drunk on the other song - the itunes bonus.

I heard that in the movie, the Lullaby is more piano and less instrumental. I hope that is the case. Its not really what I had in mind. Maybe it will be good in the movie?

:woohoo: I can reply again, some kind of glitch made it difficult for me to log in yesterday

So I've had a couple of days to listen and I really like
Track 1 Supermassive Black Hole-Muse
Track 2 & 8 by Paramore
Track 5 Spotlight (Twilight Mix) - Mutemouth
&
Track 9 Eyes on Fire - Blue Foundation

I like Linkin Park, so that one was kind of a given.

I am really disappointed with the Perry Farrell song. I loved him with Jane's Addiction, this song does Nada for me though.

Supermasive Black Hole - the Muse song is great... its kind of angsty - can't wait to see if it goes where i think it will in the movie.

Decode by Paramore is good too - Hayley Williams (the lead singer) is a HUGE Twilight fan so she wrote the song specifically for the movie and has a good understanding of it and such...

I think i like the 2nd Robert Pattinson song better than Never Think (its one of the iTunes bonus tracks)... he is really hard to understand but as i listen to it over and over and over (kind of obsessively) i think i'm figuring it out.

Bella's Lullaby - i have to say this is so not what i was expecting. Doesn't he hum bits and pieces of it to her? I'm still having a hard time trying to figure out what he would be humming. Plus, it seems to be so sad and not as "comforting" as i would think a lullaby would be. I saw a clip somewhere online of Rob actually playing the piano with Kristen Stewart sitting next to him (then there were some outtakes of him jamming away on the piano which were much better...)

Where do you think Rob's song will go in the movie?

Seems kind of meadow-ish to me

I swear it reminds me of another musical artist, someone a good deal older, I just can't put my finger on who

Loving the Soundtrack the more I listen to it, can't wait to see where all the songs fit.

You know I think it is Van Morrison. When I was thinking about it the other day, that's one of the first names that came to me, but without taking a listen to the two, I couldn't say for sure.

Jamie,
I love it too! I love their stuff and that is probably my favorite song, and only since seeing them live this summer. Before that it was Dancing Nancies. It seemed appropriate after LeRoi's passing, and I love it so much I haven't changed it.

Soo true about LeRoi. I haven't seen them live yet either, I'm always preggers or nursing with infant or some reason I can't go.

So I was wrong about the placement of the Rob song. Wink

I saw them live for the first time over the summer. It was the night right after LeRoi's accident, so ... we (the crowd) taped a get well thing for him at the end of the show. At the time I would have never guessed the outcome. The show was good, but I was a little dissapointed with it. They did a couple of covers of other groups and then didn't do a couple of my faves. (Crash & Dancing Nancies) I went to hear them, not a cover of Pink Floyd and Peter Gabriel. Lol They did them well, but ...

I was wrong too ... the restaraunt?!?
