We need to make a selection for Nov. So a total of 1 book. Any suggestions are welcome!
We can also leave NOV. open as a free month with no selection.
Please check the Selection Thread to see the monthly selections that have been chosen.

This website looks useful for ideas: http://www.bookmovement.com/app/read...bFavorites.php
I'm new to the bookclub, and bookclubs in general, so I don't really know what to suggest. The selections this round have been great so far.
Basically just anything that you think would lend itself well to discussion is great. I'll look at that site. Classics are always welcome too. I'll give that site a look

Your thoughts, pretty please with a cherry on top!
you have some really good ones on those lists. Now I need to find some time to look through them all.
There is something about words. In expert hands, manipulated deftly, they take you prisoner. Wind themselves around your limbs like spider silk, and when you are so enthralled you cannot move, they pierce your skin, enter your blood, numb your thoughts. Inside you they work their magic. ~ The Thirteenth Tale
I just have no time. I miss this board so much but I am in a stage in my life where I just can't even pick up a book. I have tried several and never get anywhere with them, forget what they are about, have to start over, lose motivation, no time to read, renew and renew and finally return to the library. GL, some of these titles sound familiar of ones I too have wanted to read. have fun
