What are you reading now?

I just finished Stunning by Sara Shepard. It is the 11th in the Pretty Little Liars series. I liked it. I hope she is really done though when she finishes the 12th one. If she writes another, I don't think I will bother with it. I have really enjoyed this series, but I think it's time to be done.

I just started The Princess by Lori Wick. It's a Christian romance book. I love Lori Wick. She is one of my favorites.

I am reading a few at the moment. Just finished Shanghai Girls by Lisa See, and am reading the sequel, Dreams of Joy, now. I really enjoyed Snow Flower and the Secret fan, but am finding these a little bit less interesting, since the historical aspect isn't as removed. Shanghai Girls was mostly in the 40s/50s in the US. Interesting, but not as interesting as foot-binding-era China! Still, this third book heads back to China, so I think I'll enjoy it.

I'm also finishing up a series, with Shadowfever. I didn't love the books, but I have to know how it ends.

Finally, got my hands on Insurgent from the library. It hasn't grabbed me yet, but I think I just need to get a little further in. Very excited to have my chance at this book, and I'm sure I'll really enjoy it - - I loved Divergent.

I read Room by Emma Donoghue yesterday. Wow. I loved it. I could not put it down. I can't get it out of my head.

I also read On the Island by Tracey Garvis-Graves on Friday and really really liked it a lot. I kind of want to read it again already.

I haven't started another yet. I can't decide.

I loved Room too, and found it definitely does stick with you. Now go read Jaycee Dugard's A Stolen Life. Not the same of course, as Dugard's book is a true story, but similar. And I did hear that the author of Room was influenced by Dugard's story.

I just finished the second book following A Discovery of Witches, called Shadow of Night. Cannot wait for the final book in that trilogy, hopefully coming out next year. I have started The House at Riverton. I loved The Forgotten Garden, and this is the same author, so I'm hoping I enjoy it as much.

I started three books - - Wife 22 by Melanie Gideon, What's Left of Me by Kat Zhang, and The Map of Time by Felix J. Palma. Enjoying all three immensely!

I just read Life of Pi recently (SO amazing!) and am now reading 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher. It's a YA novel that I've been wanting to read forever and while I've hardly had time or energy to read much of it, I'm really enjoying it so far. I really hope to read the last book in the Dark Tower series before the new year as well.

I loved Life of Pi!! So creative.

I'm currently reading Extras (from the Uglies series) as well as The Queen's Fool by Philippa Gregory.
