    Default YA author Amanda Hocking

For those who read YA, Amanda Hocking is an independent author who has a couple paranormal romance series that are really good. Even better, if you have a kindle (or kindle app) the books are $.99-$2.99.

    My Blood Approves Series:
    My Blood Approves
    Fate
    Flutter
    Wisdom
There will be a final 5th book
    And this related novella:
Letters to Elise: A Peter Townsend Novella

    Trylle Trilogy:
    Switched
    Torn
    Ascend
There is something about words. In expert hands, manipulated deftly, they take you prisoner. Wind themselves around your limbs like spider silk, and when you are so enthralled you cannot move, they pierce your skin, enter your blood, numb your thoughts. Inside you they work their magic. ~ The Thirteenth Tale

Funny, I read My Blood Approves and I have Switched but haven't started it yet, but somehow didn't realize they were the same author. I like YA a lot too especially all the indie authors out there now with ebooks. Always makes it hard to decide what to read next though.

    Lisa,
One of my favorite indie authors is Maria Rachel Hooley. She writes a lot of chick lit, but writes other genres, too, including YA. I've read most of her books.
