    Default How much of Canada...

    Have you seen?

I was just laughing at myself and my lack of Canadian travels. In another post I just revealed that until I was 22, the furthest East in Canada I had visited was....Kenora, ON!

So, where have you guys travelled to within the country? Have you been to every province?

Most of my time has been spent in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. I did visit Alberta, and BC as a youth, and went all the way out West to Victoria as a teenager. The furthest East I had ever been was Kenora (as a teenager), until I visited Toronto when I was 22.

Then the next year I made a trip to the maritimes with my family, so I'm glad I can say I've been to the East now!

I have never been to Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, or any of the territories. At least not that I can remember....I may have ventured up to the North on a family vacation as a child, but I really can't remember where we went!

The furthest west I've been is Sault Ste. Marie, ON. East-wise, I have driven through Quebec and been to New Brunswick, PEI, and Nova Scotia. None were really vacations... I tagged along on business trips with my aunt (NB) and my dad (NS) so we didn't get to see a whole lot of stuff... but I can at least say I've been there, right? LOL North, I've been to Kapuskasing (or Timmins... can't remember which is further north at the moment... I think Kap, eh?) and South... I guess Cornwall/Niagara Falls/London areas.

Easier to say where I have NOT been. Have not been to BC, Newfoundland & Labrador and the territories. I grew up in Southern Ontario and have lived in Edmonton since 1996.

I've actually seen more of Canada than DH, who is born and raised Canadian. I've been to Niagara Falls/Toronto/Gananoque Ontario and Montreal on the East side. I've been to Manitoba, Sakatchewan, Alberta, and BC on the West.

I have good friends from Newfoundland and would love to visit there and see the other provinces on the East coast.

My mom was big on road trips when we were growing up so I've been everywhere except Newfoundland and the territories.

DH has been to every province and Iqualuit (sp?).

I'm similar. When I was young(like 6 or 7) my parents took us on a long road trip- we drove all the way across the country.(No Newfoundland or Territories) We didn't see a heck of a lot in each place, some more than others, and I don't really remember much of it. My mom had friends in the Maritimes that we stayed with, and I remember going digging for mussels with them, and seeing the Parliament buildings in Ottawa.

Since I've grown up I've been to Winnipeg(once for a wedding, once for a funeral), a lot of tiny little no-where towns in Saskatchewan , I lived in Edmonton for a while, but mostly I've been here in B.C.
