Also- Carrie Underwood had a "bet" with our local country station- if we won the series she would donate a signed guitar to our Basics For Babies silent auction that is held at Xmas time. Thanks Carrie!! haha

Detroit and San Jose play game 6 tonight. San Jose is ahead 3-2 in the series, so Detroit has to win tonight and Thurs.
Both are tough teams I think, I mean they've got to be to make it this far, right? I have a couple friends who are Detroit fans, so it would be nice to play them. And beat them!

I just wanted to jump in here... didn't know there was a Canada board! Our family LOVES the Canucks (DH is from Surrey) and I just know this is their year to bring home the cup!!

I live in Langley Are you orginally from Dawson Creek? A lady I worked with, she was from there, and I think a few of her brothers/sisters still live there.
(Not really sure how big Dawson Creek is )

That was such a good game!! Colin and I went, and I'm glad we did
The atmosphere is just unbelievable! It's so electric in there. So different from a regular season game.
I haven't been to a playoff game since, ummmm, about 1988? We played Calgary, still in the Pacific Coliseum, and I bet my mom didn't even pay $60 for tickets for the 4 of us.(Compared to the $350/pr. I paid for last night- and that's my half season ticket holder price!)
Can't wait for Wednesday night!!
