    Default Tornado Watch

Just a little freaked out here. I don't do possible natural disasters well. The band of thunderstorms that is supposed to have the potential to spark tornadoes is supposed to hit here around 5ish. Hoping and praying it's just a regular ol' thunderstorm and/or goes around us and/or doesn't increase to a warning/actual tornado.

Only have a small closet leading to the sump pump under the stairs to hide in... we only have half the basement in our house (other half is an apartment) and that's the only space without any windows.

Hope everything is okay where you are. Where having crazy weather here (just outside Toronto) Crazy lighting, winds, thunder and rain but no tornado thankfully.

The watch and severe thunderstorm warnings ended just after 9 p.m. Never did amount to anything. Never saw lightening... heard only a couple small rumbles maybe... did rain very hard for a few minutes here and there. It looked like all of southern Ontario and a very good chunk of north-eastern Ontario were under the same tornado/thunderstorm watches/warnings. I heard even Toronto was under the tornado watch. Very freaky.

We were under a tornado watch here in Toronto but just had a lot of lightening and thunder. It wasn't windy at all. Sunday's storm I'd say was much worse. We're in an area with lots of older trees and always have twigs and branches down in storms...nothing last night.
