Thread: 2 Days of Positive OPK: When to time intercourse?

I am new here and I am driving myself mad. I had my first positive OPK on Thurs and had another on Friday (test line was darker than control line on this day) and I need to know when to expect ovulation and when to have intercourse...hubby is tired of every day but don't know when I can stop bugging him....I don't want to miss this window...anyone awake that can help me? Thanks.

Is the information that you ovulate after the LH surge based on the first day of the positive OPK or the 2nd? And when can I stop having intercourse....??

I would say go by the darker opk and BD (have intercourse) for up to two days after that.

I've often wondered this myself when I get several positive OPKS and I dont temp so I'm never certain of my O date..

However, I asked other people and they usually ovulate 12-48 hours AFTER their LAST positive OPK...

This cycle I had 3 days of positives, but the middle day was the most blazing, so I just BD'd that day and BD'd the next.

To be safe I'd probably always BD the day you get the positive, and then make sure to BD the day after incase you haven't O'd yet... (I always ASSUME its going to be the 48 hours, so I want to have some in there before I O and catch it incase those swimmers didnt survive long enough)!
