Sorry I was late this week! Brought healthy muffins and fresh-squeezed O.J.
This week's topic, which is a question really: What is your favorite part of charting and why?
By the way, ladies, I need ideas for topics of discussion for future meetings! What do you want to talk about? :)
My favorite part of charting is temping. I love seeing the pretty pattern my temps create on the chart, and analyzing what my body is doing. And for some weird reason, I love seeing that temp jump that indicates ovulation. It used to be a whole lot more exciting back when we were able to actively ttc, but even now, I still like seeing it. Weird, I know.
I just like seeing my body do what it should. Seeing that temp jump this month was really exciting!
Yum! Muffins and OJ!
I love being able to pinpoint my O date and knowing exactly when to expect AF.
Mary, I think you've been doing a great job getting this board hopping again! :D
Here are some ideas...though, they're probably not that great! lol
What do you use to keep track of your BBT? If you use FF, do you think VIP membership is worth it?
Um....this is hard! I'll try to think of some more later....
I love that temp spike, too. :)
I agree with Jina! I love seeing this board hopping! Thanks for the effort you've put in, Mary. :)
Some more questions... Hmm....
What's your least favorite part about temping?
Does your doctor/ob know you temp? If they do, how have they responded?
Thanks, ladies. I copied your question suggestions for future meetings. ;)
I like all the information I've been able to find out about my cycle using charting. I like being able to look at the patterns and figure out when O is, look for patterns that happen every month, seeing if my cycle is still regular. All the geeky science stuff. :-)
Possible questions...hmmmm....
Is there a particular pattern on your chart (aside from AF) that tells you for sure that you aren't pg? What is it?
Have you ever tried to take a break from charting/temping and found you couldn't stop? (sounds like I need a 12-step program!)
Do you ever talk about charting with people in RL (aside from Dr.)? What is their reaction?
Do you notice a difference in your temp pattern depending on the outside weather/season? What?
Jean - I like all the geeky science stuff about charting, too! Probably sounds weird to other people, but I think it's because I'm so 'analytical.' And by the way, I LOVE your second question suggestion! I can't wait to answer it, so I think I might do that one next week (Monday)! :D
Oh PS Jean: I meant to say that I loved ALL your question suggestions, but especially #2!
