I poas this morning. I would've technically been 7D(and about 8 hours)PO. The test says check it after 5 minutes. I looked after about 3-4mins, and saw nothing. About an hour later I remembered that I hadn't looked again at 5mins, so of course then I looked again, and there is the faintest of faint lines, I think.

I started researching the differences between evap and faint pos lines. So, this afternoon I decided to do a little experiment... I dipped 2 sticks. 1 in tap water, and the other in my pee. After 5 mins, the pee dipped stiick has a line just like the one from this morning, but the water dipped stick is snow white.

Now obviously that's not convincing enough, so I'm thinking I'll have J test at the same time as me, and see if it's just a evap line, that doesn't show up when you use water, only pee?... or maybe I'll just try to wait until morning and test again. (yeah, I sound crazy, huh?!)

Any good tips on spotting the difference between evap and faint positive??

I've always heard that evaps don't have the pink color and are more gray. I know it's a big no no to check a test after the time limit but that's pretty hard. I've done it a hundred times! I remember doing it with my first and seeing a very faint line an hour or so after I took it. Low and behold, I got a def BFP 2 days later :) I've heard of several women on boards here that had that happen with wondfo tests. Interesting experiment you're doing! I'll be curious to see what happens when you use your DF's pee too. Now I'm going to be super anxious to see what your tests in the next day or two show!

Yep, I totally see the lines! Wow! You're one of the lucky ones that get early bfps!! Congratulations!!

It's almost feeling real now, almost. I'm going to keep on charting for a little while. Want to keep an eye on my temp as a little reassurance that things are ok.
