Default ***Charter's Meeting (2/06) ~ Do you have VIP on FF?

    Discussion Question this week:

If you use FF, do you pay for a VIP membership? Why or why not?

If you do have VIP, do you think it's worth it?

I don't have a VIP membership for the same reason I don't buy the big packs of opks or hpts. I think, "what if I get pregnant this month and don't need it?" lol

I could only ever bring myself to buy VIP in small increments. I mean who wants to plan on being on VIP for a year at a time????
I totally thought it was worth it, but I'm a data guru and loved to overlap charts and see other peoples patterns compared to mine.

Just started with FF this month as the TCOYF program I purchased confuses me! I like it a lot but didn't purchase the VIP as I already invested in the other program.

FF currently has me in a free trial period. I'm liking that they calc my average O and average leutal phase etc. Kinda a cool that they have fertile day indicators. Not liking at all that they calculte your chances.... feel like that's over the line somehow. I want to be hopeful... but if a computer told me that I had high chances of being pregnant and I wasn't I'd probably feel worse than if I was uninformed of it's opinion.

Long answer to say, no, I will not be purchasing VIP membersihp. Totally agree with PP that I'm hoping to not be using FF after this cycle!!! Plus - I get evrything I want to know from the basic.

When I was still purchasing VIP, I would do either three months or one month at a time. It is funny that FF would actually expect someone that was ttc to purchase a whole year But... maybe some do? It was worth it to me, because I liked all the extras.

Now that we currently have very little chance to conceive, I don't bother paying for it since I can't justify the cost.

ETA: I do take advantage of the free trial offers they give me from time to time, though

Haha....I'm one of the suckers that purchased the one year membership. I figure you can always put your account on hold if you get KU so why not? Plus, I expect my TTC journey to be longer than average since I DO want to have 2 or more kids and so far my track record isn't that great.

I do like some of the extra features but I don't really put too much stock into them. I mean, it's fun to look at but in the end they've been totally wrong...lol. Last cycle it said I had 78% or 79% chance of being pregnant and my BD score was HIGH but obviously no BFP. The month that I did get a bfp I only had like 30 something % chance of pregnant and my BD score was only GOOD....lol.

I pay for VIP. Usually I go with 3 months at a time, although at one point I did 180 days (there was SO little difference in the price they offered that I went for it.) I used their PG tracker for awhile, although I can't say I really saw much useful with that. So, I'll stick with 3 months at a time. I've said before I'm a real data geek, so I like being able to play with the features! But, you probably get plenty of info from the free version.

I'm pretty new to FF and the free version is a already a step up from what I was using before. I'm also pretty cheap so I doubt I would upgrade. I love the free version so far.

I just use the free version. I had a free trial for a week and some of the vip features were neat but I just can't justify paying for it right now. The free version gives me the info I need.
