So after a few weeks of researching some adverse symptoms I've been having, DH and I have decided to have my Mirena removed and see if it helps at all.
That leaves me back here and charting to avoid pregnancy (and using condoms urgh!)... I haven't charted properly in a long time so this should be interesting. Is anyone else charting to avoid pregnancy? Technically I probably can't get pregnant easily anyway, but there's no point taking chances. And at least charting will give me some vague idea what my body is doing these days as I've been on the Mirena since 2011...

No, not hoping for an Opps. We're preventing until we're ready to TTC. Hoping to start TTC around September time maybe. I need to make sure I am in tip top condition as I want to start my pregnancy at peak health in the hope I can prevent any of the problems and issues I had in the past.
My Mirena came out on the 29th December, so we're using condoms and charting until we know what my cycles are doing. They were kind of crazy before my mirena went in as I am peri-menopausal. I'm currently CD13 and only stopped AF yesterday. My cycles have been crazy for a few years now, so I'm not even sure if I can have anymore. Last lot of testing I had done suggested I'm on the cusp of menopause and that I probably couldn't get pregnant without IVF anyway. We don't want to go that route, so we're focussing on things that may help naturally. But of course, none of that is particularly helpful until I've figured out what my cycles are doing and if I'm even Ovulating...
In the meantime I'm focussing on losing weight and doing some modifications to my house.
