Can you look at my chart please?

I thought for sure I would have O'd yesterday but when I took my temp this morning I was very disappointed.

My temps look very weird...is this normal?

I'm also out of opk strips. I have CBE Digital opks but I got a positive only once on cd23 even though the answer brand tests were super dark for a couple days after that.

Any insight is very much appreciated! Thanks!

Your temps are still pretty low so you definitely haven't O'd yet, at least in my VHO.

It looks by all your signs that you could be ready to release that eggy today or even tomorrow. I have seen charts where the temp stayed low (but had a bit of a shift) and didn't actually rocket until implantation (and she is now preggo).

I hope you get a nice spike tomorrow!

Hi Christina! Thanks for responding. I still haven't O'd yet. It's just weird...I normally O on the last day of a positive opk....:dontknow:

I've just about had it. I'm tired of not seeing any significant change in my temps. I'm also running out of energy to keep BD'ing....lol. If I don't O tonight I'm going to be very angry! Grrrr! Haha!

Oh, I hear ya! On the cycle I got preggo we BD'd 5 days in a row. I was ready to jump out the window...but the things we do for a baby, huh!?

Temp is still too low to confirm O.

Has your doctor given you any idea of what's going on? Are you open to Clomid or anything like that?

Haha! Yes! I've become a shameless hussy since TTC....

I don't know much about Clomid....but I'm not sure if I'm a good candidate since I do O on my own. It's just that my cycles have gotten longer and a bit unpredictable since the second miscarriage. I'm hoping that my body is still trying to sort its self out. My annual is coming up soon so I'll just wait and talk to my ob/gyn then.

Hey Jina,

I'm thinking your body geared up to O but didn't. Maybe in a few days you'll get that temp rise.

Also, I know you had some trouble with the EPT opks, but I had huge problems with the Answer opks. They gave me a week of positive results and I know of a lot of other women on this site and FF who have had similar experiences. I don't know what it is about that brand but they don't like me.

To give you a bit of hope, when I conceived DD, we had DTD about three days before O.
Some literature sugest that skipping a day lets the boys build up.

Jina- definitely talk to your dic. Clomid is actually used to bring earlier O and shorten that WTO period. You usually take it days 3-5 or 7-9 and then O about 7-10 days after. So you could definitely be a candidate for it since your cycles are getting longer.

They may also try some other measures to get your cycle back on track.

Btw...I read your blog (and your journal) and I seriously think we were separated at birth...just sayin'! Wink

Lenora, Hi! That is so weird...I was having pretty good luck with Answer brand tests until I ran out....lol. I dunno...maybe you're right though because I got 3 days of positives until I ran out but I also got a positive on a CBE Digital....I'm hoping I finally O'd though!

Louise, I would really love to skip days but I start getting paranoid that if I skip a day then I'll O the very next dayand not get a bfp....I know, it doesn't make any sense...haha!

Christina, Hmmm....Clomid sounds like it might help me out. I'll definitely bring it up with my ob/gyn. Haha...thanks for reading my journal and blog. I guess you are a shopaholic like moi? Oh and we both like to hike?! hehe...:D

Oh yes, I'm hoping and praying that my temps stay up!! I was getting so tired of seeing the same 96 - something every morning for over 2 weeks! Ugh!

I'm late seeing this... sorry you got such a nice spike yesterday morning and then a lower one again today Sad I'm wondering if maybe you're just having a "backdrop" temp and that it will go back up again tomorrow.

So sorry your lil eggies are being so stubborn! :brucelee: lol

Mary, thanks....I'm thinking that this cycle is being so crazy due to being sick for 2 weeks at the beginning of this cycle. I hope anyway, I don't want to keep dealing with crazy long cycles! lol

Christina, lol...I don't think you're a dork! I wish I could have a garden. The squirrels around here are beasts! Yes...clothes....shoes....drool....lol.

Christina, I'm really hoping I did O!

I had 8 different temps this morning! Ugh! I am going to start temping vaginally next cycle, I swear. I thought I would try out temping at 5 am and it has eliminated me snapping awake way before temping time but I'm still occasionally sleeping with my mouth open.

I'm copying and pasting my post from FF.

I'm on CD 33 and am still waiting FF to confirm O.

I woke up this morning at 5am like I do every morning to take my temp and my mouth was wide open (ugh!). I took my temp and it was 96.31 and that seemed really low so I immediately took it again and it was 96.69. I just kept re-taking it (I wasn't moving anything but my hand and mouth) and came up with these.

96.76
96.86
96.91
96.92
96.94
96.96

I finally got up and went to the restroom and got back in bed and my temp was 97.02. I went back to sleep and woke up again at 8am like I normally do and took my temp before brushing my teeth which I also do every morning and it was 98.22. My temp is usually around 97.6 - 97.7 at this time. I'm hoping this means my temp has gone up....

Which temp do I use? If I use 96.86 or below then I don't get my cross hairs. I have all the physical signs of having O'd already. My CM has pretty much dried up and my cervix is HFC.

Gina~ The higher temp is going to be more accurate in that situation. If you normally record at 5 am, I'd go with the last temp. (If it were me, I would use the bathroom temp as I know for me it never made a difference. Plus, knowing you had your mouth open completely skews the temp.)

If you normally temp (and record) at the later time, use the that one though definitely put in a note.

I used to get the same thing all the time. I would get a different reading each and every oral temp. This is why I started temping vaginally. another tip could be to continue temping orally for this cycle but also temp vaginally that way you can get the hang of it and see how it goes for you in the next week or so.

The cycle before I temped vaginally, I did this and just noted my chart. I charted the oral temp but put the vaginal reading in notes so I could go back and look at it.

Christina, thanks! I think I'll go with the higher temp too. I'm tired of BD'ing anyway so I'm considering myself to be in the 2ww, though; waiting for AF is more like it. I'm finally convinced that I should be temping vaginally….I should have started this cycle! I’m such a hard headed dolt sometimes. I guess I should wear temping friendly PJs...lol. Thanks again for all your help! Seriously, I really appreciate it very much!

Wink You're welcome! I love temping, so it's no problem!

And I definitely think vaginal temping is the way to go.
