    Default FR Fertility Test?

    Hey ladies,
I was googling around to find cheap OPK's and ran across a First Response Fertility Test. It says you use it on CD3 and it will tell you if your hormone levels are such that you can get pregnant. Has anyone tried this? I'm not sure what to think. I guess for us POAS addicts it's another chance for 2 lines.

For awhile the first response folks were including a free one of the fertility tests with their HPTs. I tried one, but I can't say that I really got anything useful out of the result in the end. It really gives you one piece of info (an idea of what your FSH level is) which can tell you how hard or easy a time your body is having ovulating (higher FSH means less eggs which = lower fertility.) But even if your level is still good, it can't tell you if your eggs are healthy or if there are other fertility issues. For what it's worth, I personally wouldn't have spent any money on them. I just tried it because it was free.

I have one still sitting in my cabinet from a long time ago that I got for free in a FRER hpt pkg. I've never used it because I just can't bring myself to POAS while having AF. Bleck. lol.

I'm not sure whether it's worth spending money on or not. What Jean said makes sense.

I wasn't really sure they would really do anything for you. I mean, wouldn't you be seeing your doctor at that point? A co-pay is probably cheaper than those. Just curious to see what they were about. Thanks!
