Default Going to start charting and need expert advice

OK, tomorrow I am going in to get my Mirena IUD removed. I'm not too sure what the bleeding situation after removal will be, does anyone know? I need to know when to start temping and charting. Thanks in advance for all your help!

Sorry I can't help with the Mirena bleeding part but I can tell you that I didn't temp during my period. Your hormones are all over the place and your temps look really wonky.

Also, I temped vaginally which for me was very helpful and more accurate that oral temping.

Good luck and have fun! I really loved temping. It let's you know what's going on inside there. Your first month will be a learning experience. I didn't feel completely comfortable until about 3-4 months in.

I'm hoping to conceive in August, September at the latest so I can have a baby during summer vacation. I hope I'm not being not impractical

Everyone is different but I really just mean that youll be able to see a pattern and/or know what's happening rather than asking WTH. Does that make sense?

My first month was a crazy mess. I learned how important it is to set an alarm.
My second month, another mess but much better.
By my 4th or so month I could start to see my O pattern, etc. But it wasn't until I temped vaginally that I really felt it was 'right on'.

I had my mirena removed on 2/21. Here's how my cycles have gone:

Cycle 1: Period came 2/23, lasted 10 days, cycle length - 50 days (wasnt charting, dont know if/when O date was)
Cycle 2: Period came 4/14, lasted 5 days, Ovulated May 4th (CD 21), cycle length - 35 days
Cycle 3: Period came May 19th, lasted 5 days, Ovulated June 3rd (CD 16)....hoping AF stays away, trying for a BFP this weekend, but I dont think it's going to happen. I anticipate that the witch will be here Saturday or Sunday.

So it's been 4 months, but only 3 cycles for me. It's taken my body several months to get back to "normal." So....don't be surprised if things are out of wack for several months. start tracking your temps in cycle 1 though. I missed out that first 50 day cycle because I was lazy.

    Talking August

I am also hoping to conceive in august/september- I hate hot weather so I was hoping to be preggers during the cold months. this will be our first. Lots of learning to do! I have been doing research, my husband listening in to most of the info... good luck!!!!

Me too in more like Septemeber/October, I am new to this cite and am just starting to chart my temps and am thinking WTH. So, these posts have been very helpful. Although I haven't found the answer to what is your Basal temp suppose to be at the start of your cycle? Also my first and my hubby likes to emphasize all of the changes that will and could happen to my body once preggers..such as more hair, dark skin spots, and constant nausea!
