So... I generally wake around 6:30am, but insomnia is making my life heck right now. Ovulation should have happened yesterday(day21) or the day before(day20). OPK said positive the day before last, but I forgot to take one the day before that, when I really thought I would be ovulating on day20 .
The night before last, I got about 2 hours asleep, and that wasn't even in a row... my temp went from 97.3 the day before(day 20) to 97.4 yesterday morning(day21), but I am not sure how accurate that was given the lack of rest.
So this morning when I woke up at 4am with at least 4 hours of sleep, I took my temp... unsure I'd get back to sleep.... it was 98.0. I then got up to pee, and proceeded to doze on and off until 6:15, when it was time to give up of sleep. I took my temp again and it was 97.6.
I know they say to try for the same time, but it seems like the 4am would be more accurate at this point..... but I'm not sure if that's just because it's what I want to see
Hi! I'm sorry about your insomnia. Ugh. Not being able to sleep is one of the most frustrating things.
I would say that your 4 a.m. time would be the most accurate, since it was after a good block of sleep.
How's your chart looking now?

yeah, it is super frustrating.
i only started charting temps just before ovulation should have occurred. i'm thinking the 97.6 was probably accurate, since it was the same yesterday... and today was 97.7. i think i maybe just don't have the extreme jump a lot of women do. my temps seem to always stay on the lowish side. it is creeping up though, so i'm hoping it stays that way!
here's my ovulation chart
also, my guess is i actually ovulated on that first day my opk is marked positive, because i forgot to test the day before... but the day before that was "almost" a positive.
