Question.......

Hey ladies.... I hope you dont mind me posting here but I have a question hoping to figure out what the end result is.
We havent started officially TTC- waiting till next monday. but I have been off BC since May and using OPKs to avoid. I tend to O late around 19-21. This cycle I started POAS around CD 16 to prep for O, and nada.... yesterday which was CD I got a Positive OPK and today as well( two in a row is normal for me). but around noon today I had some bright red bleeding and then spotted all day- red not pink or brown. Slightly heavy almost crampy feeling as well. Is it possible to spot from ovulation? I never.ever.have. I am wondering if I O'ed earlier and maybe its IB?? We dtd CD 14. Any one have any fun thoughts on this? I am guessing if its IB I would need to wait a few more days to test.

Hi Sara Smile We don't mind you posting here at all.

I would go ahead and test just for good measure, because opks can also pick up the pregnancy hormone hcg (weird, but true). If it's negative, then I would say you're having ovulation spotting for the first time. :goodluck: Keep us posted!

So I tested..yesterday morning BFN. But blazing OPK yesterday morning, night, this morning and tonight. That would be 4 or 5 days of solid positives on OPKs. I used to only test at night for the LH surge but the Answer brand recommends the morning(ran out of my Wonflo? brand). So I did both. That seems really exessive for positive OPKs right? I have no more HPTs so I am going to need to grab some tomorrow. The spotting is only a few times yesterday and today just when wiping. All in all, its all very odd to me.

The Answer brand is notorious for giving multiple positives. How did it turn out?
