    Hi girls,

Belinda- I'm betting your temp will jump in the next day or two. Good luck!

Cara- Thanks or joining us. I'm glad you're temping now. By the time you are able to TTC you'll be an old pro.

AFM, my opks are getting slightly darker (as in, they actually have a line on them) not near positive, though. Looks like I'll probably o on CD 15 or so again.

ETA- Woo hoo! My opk is almost positive and I actually have EWCM! Yay!

I'm back here now. Figured I'd put my chart back in my siggy as a sign of hope that we might have another surprise this month.

Elizabeth - YAY for darker opks!

Ok, I need help ladies. I woke up at 6:25 this am and layed there for a couple of minutes. Decided to temp just in case I couldn't go back to sleep. It was 97.48. After about 5-10 minutes I fell back into a light sleep. The alarm went off at 7:05 and I took my temp again. It was 97.84. Which one should I use?? It could mean the difference between thermal shift and no thermal shift. Ugh, what a morning to wake up early, huh?!

vanstratenr - Could be.... but think you need a couple more high temps to be sure.

Belinda - I feel like this question comes up all the time! I see you used the lower one... and I'm thinking that technically that's probably the more accurate one.

AFM - Very frustrating weekend when I woke up at 5:30 to temp like a good girl. Didn't stay awake long enough to look at the number knowing that my BBT Thermometer saves the most recent temp. I got suspicious when the temp was the same 2 days in a row and confirmed on Sun that for some reason it just flashes 97.70 when I turn it on, no matter what my last temp was. So re-temped on Sun when I figured that out but it was later so not quite a valid temp. So annoying since I'm so close to O. BUT, looks like I haven't had a temp shift yet.... so still here with you all waiting to O.

Just a quick question - I noticed when I converted my chart to F, that my regular temps are significantly higher than most peoples. The average temp pre-O is 97.7. Is that normal or does it indicate something's off?

Some people are just hotter than others. I've been told it's normal and the main thing is to just look for the cyclical pattern of lower temps pre-O and higher temps post-O.

Hmm it's hard to tell for sure. It looks like you might have O'd, but because your temps were so high at the beginning of the month, your overall average pre-O temp isn't low enough (which is why FF hasn't given you crosshairs yet). Too bad you weren't doing opks.

I agree it is probably better to use the first temp.

UGH about the 97.7 temp! My thermometer brings up that temp when you first turn it on, too. Maybe you already know about this, but the way I get to temps in my thermometer's memory is to push and HOLD the on button until I see the number 1, then let it go and it gives me the last temp. Then if I immediately push it again, it shows a 2 and when I let it go it gives the next to last temp, and so on... up to 7 temps, I think.

I agree that you probably just run hotter than most. I've seen others with a higher pre-O temp like yours.

Elizabeth, nice temp shift! It looks like you O'd yesterday! Good luck this month!!!!

Cara, It looks like you're gearing up to O soon! Good luck!

Mary, I am so happy to see your chart back in your siggy. I was really sad when you decided you were done a while back. I know you guys aren't officially trying but you never know right?

Vanstratenr, It doesn't look like you've O'd to me. Are you using OPKs as well or just temping?

Belinda, I would go with the first temp. I don't really think half an hour or so makes a huge difference. I normally temp at 5:30 but a lot of times I wake up at 5 and it has never affected my temp pattern.

Kristy, Ugh! Sorry about the thermometer issue. I'd be frustrated too. I always take a peek at the temp before going back to sleep because I've had that happen to me before. It looks like you're getting really close to O time! GL!

AFM, I think I'm going to O today or tomorrow. I had an u/s this morning and I had one follie on my left ovary again that was measuring 20.5 mm. My lining looked nice and thick as well so I hope we catch that little eggie this month.

My temp for today is so super bogus. I'm going to discard it, I just figured I'd throw it in there for now. DD was awake from 1 a.m.-4:30 a.m. and then she woke DS up, so I really didn't sleep at all. Then I just temped when I woke up at 7:30 for the heck of it hen I usually take my temp at 5. See? Bogus! lol

But either way, we'll pretty much be 2ww buddies! Sounds like everything's looking good for you. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!
