Rear Facing in a Chevy Cruze

Does anyone have a rear facing car seat in a Chevrolet Cruze? Care to share a picture? We just got a Cruze and I'm looking into car seats that will fit.

Ideally I want a Sunshine Kids Radian, but I worry it will be too tall to fit. So I need to look at options.

Care to share?

Not a cruze, but I just traded in a Chevy Cobalt. I'll have to see if I have any pictures that show it well. I will say that in a small car you will have to make sure the seat fits well without having to eat the dashboard, and the middle works best.

If you are aiming for a convertable, the Evenflow Truimph fit really well into our Cobalt, I would imagine it would be similar in the Cruze.

A Radian will fit in the middle of a Cruze.

Britaxes would as well, as they take up little front to back space. Likely a TrueFit as well, especially with the headrest off. Smile

Hi. Sorry it took me so long to get here.

Some stors will let you take a display seat to the parking lot to see if it fits. If this isn't possible, there are some seats that take up less space.

The First Years True Fit can be used rear facing without it's head rest. That's an option.

The Combi Coccoro might be another option. These seats are designed specifically to fit in small cars. Here's a link to their site.

I ran across a chart somewhere that shows which seats fit well in which cars. I'll try to find it.

Thanks for asking!

Heidi, I'm pretty sure the site you're talking about got taken down....

carseatdata? or something like that? someone bought the site, like elitecarseats or something like that, and it no longer exists... if we're actually thinking and talking about the same thing.
