Default ~CLOMID SIDE EFFECTS~ Add yours here!!

    Hey girls..

I thought it would be cool to have a sticky post of all the different side effects that each of us experience on Clomid making it easier to reference back later if we want to know if what we are feeling is normal or the works of the little miracle drug.

Please add on to this as you are made aware of more side effects!

NOTE: If you have any general questions about the side effects, then please post them on the board so we can help answer your questions

Default Sticky - Chlomid side effects

Hello girls, Glad to hear I am not alone, but am sorry to hear that you are in the same boat as I. I am on my second round of Chlomid. First round on 50 mg second up to 100 mg. Saturday will be my last day to take chlomid for this cycle anyway. I hope I get preggo.

Side effects on 50 mg (last month): MOODY!, night sweats, indigestion (acid reflux), headaches, hot flashes.

I hope I ovulate this month, even though, to hear y'all talk, it will be painful (not as painful as childbirth, though).

    Hoping to Conceive!

    Hi Everyone!

April---first round of Clomid 50mg-----some headaches, a little warm at night, and moody.

May--second round of Clomid 50mg-----bad headaches during AF, some heartburn, and intense O pain!!!!!! WOW!

It's definitely worth it if it works!!!!!

Hi guys! I hope this helps others!
April, 1st month, big time moodiness! Whew! Crying at commercials and really pissed at people driving on the road. NOT my normal self! Some migraines at af time, kinda big time, actually.
May, 2nd round, 50mg again, with no moodiness so far, sore nipples now, and huge O pain! Both sides! Really bad, that it made me nervous, but I feel pretty good right now overall. No moodiness and no headaches! Yeah!

    Good luck everyone!

    Great idea.
    Also dryness.
I had a lot of O pain but had big follies on the ultrasound so hopefully was indicative of that.

This was my first month on it. Wasn't so bad, I was a little moody, got a headache here and there (but that might have been DD related) and I think the worst was the feeling my eyes were dry and burning. Finished it the other day, just waiting to O now!

About when did you notice the side effects? And how many days did you take the clomid for? I'm going to be starting it after provera gives me af and am a little nervous to deal with the moodiness if I get it.

    Hi everyone,

I'm new on this board, I took Clomid for the first time in May and had the headaches, and extreme O pain, but to my excitement it worked on the first try.

Only to find out that one of the problems with Clomid is an increased cause of ectopic pregnancy. I found this out while I was in the hospital with one. It's not a side effect, it just increases your chance.

We've decided to continue trying (without Clomid) unitl after a tubal surgery to make sure everything in there is OK.

After several delays I am now finally starting Clomid in a couple of days. As I was reading these side effects, I was wondering...for those of you who said you had intense O pain...did you have O pain before you were on Clomid? I'm asking because I've never felt anything during O time, but I'm wondering if I will now???
