Hi Sabby..I am not part of this board but check it sometimes to provide support. I wanted to let you know that Clomid worked for me. I was TTC for a year before my doctor put me on Provera and Clomid. A few months later we got pg! I am due in January 2006. I am here to let everyone know that I am praying that Clomid works for them too. I am sending good vibes to all. Best of luck.

Add me to the list two. After one miscarriage at 12 weeks 4 days and a subsequent year of trying and failing to get pregnant, one round of 100 mg of Clomid days 5-9 did the trick. We were on vacation so I couldn't do IUI and my Dr. therefore didn't give us much hope. We did not use preseed this month. I looked around on the Internet and read somewhere that astroglide is pretty sperm friendly and if we used anything last month that's what we used. I never got any EW, and I always worried about it so hopefully this will give some hope to anyone else in the same boat. I did take robitussin a couple of times around O but only about 3 times so I'm not sure how much it helped. I started getting cramps around 7dpo - the earliest I've ever had cramps. They were so bad I didn't even test when AF was late I figured the Clomid just lengthened my LP. I got a pos test 17dpo. My HCG was 365. The Dr. immediately started me on prog supplements and baby aspirin so I'm glad I didn't wait any longer to test. 19dpo my HCG went up to 1310. I continued to have awful cramps, the worst I've ever had for a week after my pos pregnancy test and thought for sure I would miscarry. This morning we saw our baby for the first time. I'm 6 weeks 3 days pregnant and the baby is 4.6 mm with a strong heartbeat. I'm so so grateful for my Clomid miracle and praying that things continue to go well.
I thought I'd never be able to post a BFP! baby dust to everyone!

Me too! I took 50 mg of clomid 4 years ago after trying for 2 years to get pg, and it worked the first time. I have a healthy 3 1/2 year old DS now.

I took it for the second time after having a m/c without med's in Jan. I started 50mg of clomid in Feb/March and got pg the first cycle again! My EDD for #2 is Nov 30, 2006.

Clomid truly is a miracle drug!!!!!

    Hi,

Well new to the board and I have lots of questions.
I just started clomid 50mg today. I'm 41 never been married till this last June. My husband and I were excited to start our family so did nothing to stop it from happening. Well here it is March and still not pregnant so started Clomid today. What's the good and bad about this medication? I'm a bit scared to use a medication. And will it really work?
Would love to hear from anyone. Thanks~

Welcome! Well, I love clomid--it's the only thing that makes me O and I got pg off of it once. The goods about it is that it can solve some problems you are having, which depends from person to person. There are about 3 reasons I can think of to take this. The bad thing about it, which is the only one I know of, is that it can cause your lining to thin, which isn't good. And it does have some nasty s/e's for some ppl. But overall, it's helpful, I think. Good luck!!!!

    Default Clomid

    Hi,
Well yesterday was my last day to take my clomid no reactions besides the first day when I felt like yuck. That't the only thing I can think to call it, I just felt yucky all over and just didn't want to move. Days 2-5 were great lots of energy and I can't wait to make a baby! I was scared to take the clomid but God is good and he took care everything.
I'll keep everyone posted on the out come.

    Arlene
