I hope you are wrong wrong wrong!!!! I want 100 mgs to be the stuff and then you will be ovulating in a couple weeks!!! :)

I'm not sure exactly what happened with me. My opks were totally dark around cd 11 and 12, then faded to nothing. Then came back blazing pos on days 18 and 19. Now on day 20 I have a big temp spike. I'm hoping I was wrong and that I actually DO get to ovulate this time. I'm just confused.

I'm sorry to whine to you about this, I don't mean to be a jerk, or rub it in that it might have worked for me when it didn't for you. I'm just not sure what my body isn't doing. Why can't we have normal regular bodies, and have surprise pregnancies?? I want to be one of those annoying girls that swears she tried *SO LONG* after three months and then got her bfp!!! And I want you to be too!! Sometimes this whole thing screams not fair so loud that it makes me upset. Anyway. Sorry. Rant over! :(

Oh Susan I hope so to hun!! I had the BEST dream last night!! I had a newborn baby boy, I was sleeping and he was with my mom. I woke up to feed him, and he pee'd all on himself and clothes. I didn't even care, I just gave him a spongebath (because his umbilical cord was still attached) and changed his clothes.. He was beautiful and it was AMAZING!! I can't wait! :(

Rant away! I totally understand what you're saying. It's not fair but it's the hand we we're dealt.. :(
But on another note, nice temp spike!! I hope you caught your eggie!! DTD tonight again to be sure!! Fingers crossed!!

Well I'm not so sure about temps, but FF gave me very strong clear crosshairs. So I'm happy with that I guess?

Both cycles I got a pos opk on 11 and 12, then no temp spike, still have cm, it totally fades on the opk, then on 18 or so another positive. I did get the temp spike on the day after that second opk though both times.
I've been doing some reading and I guess it's pretty common to get a pos opk a few days after the clomid. Most of those things say they are within 3 days of stopping the clomid, but I got my positives 4 and 5 days after the clomid. I'm really sure that's what was happening. Just an FYI if it happens when you get the clomid dose that works!!

It was really driving me nuts. I'm glad I did the research!


How is your cycle going? Did he cough up the higher clomid dose? Any side effects? When do you start?

I'm sooo upset right now! I can't stand my OB's office for infertility.. Other than that they're great! I called the pharmacy and they did not have my prescription as of this morning. I called my doc office this morning and they said they would take care of it.. how hard it is to send over a friggin prescription!? So I called back this afternoon to the pharmacy, still no prescription.. I call back to the doc's office, and they're closed!!? Apparently they close at 1pm on Fridays!? WTHHH!!! So I spoke to a lady at their answering service, and she took down all my info and the medicine name, etc. She said she would page it over to the doctor.. I have a feeling I won't be getting my clomid.. :( If I don't hear from them until Monday, I think i'm still going to take it then (cd7).. I just wish I was with an RE... smh

Oh no!!! How awful of them. I HATE dealing with trying to get a prescription from a drs office. Seems like it's never done, or right, or in time!

Were they ok with the 100 though?? I don't think cd 7 is THAT late is it?


afm, my chart really does look like i ovulate ( i think so anyway) I asked the old dr to do a blood check to see if we can tell for sure, but was told no again. Grrr. I am TRYING very very hard not to think on anything that's going on in my body, so I don't imagine any symptoms... It's hard! :(

I called my dr that is a jerk and argued up and down and they agreed to do the progesterone check. He got so annoyed with me bugging them actually, that he made it a 'repeat as needed' test, so I can do it next time without him signing it! haha! I win!
Small victory, but I'll take what i can get for now.

So yesterday, they told me they wouldn't send the prescription without a blood test. I told them, I got my period, cramps and all and its now gone after 5 days. I also took preg tests and they both were negative, oh and btw I NEVER got a positive Ov test.. They STILL wanted me to go in! So now instead of CD 7 starting it.. I'm starting it today CD 8 100mg.. I'm fine with that though, being as though I don't O.

I had a little drama today with getting the clomid, but it worked out. Once again I'm paying out of pocket because I don't have to time for my insurance to authorize it (another 48hrs). The 100mgs is $38, not bad.. so I'm fine, I'll just submit a claim to my insurance later.
