I am so sorry you're going through this! Is he a RE or an OB/GYN? If he's an OB, I get why he's that way. I really like my OB but fertility isn't what they really practice so they do the minimum. However, if your doc is an RE, then shame on his office for not being understanding. That's what they specialize in, women come into their office everyday for this reason alone. They need to monitor you to find out what works. The fact that he didn't up your dosage is ridiculous. If he claims that it didn't work why not up it? I would be just as upset as you.

If he's not monitoring you, then take the 100mgs.. But I think it did work, so if it were me, I would just take the 50 again if you don't get a bfp.. Also, you could wait and see if AF shows up about 14 days after your suspected O, since your cycles are about 40 days long, see if it comes early. What was the plan after 3 months of taking it??

Honestly, if I was giving someone else advice, I would say the same thing. I think I O'd on the 26th. That makes it only 12-24 hours before the blood test. So there is no way that was an accurate reading of my luteal phase progesterone at it's peak. Unfortunately, we didn't time the bding right then. I really think that we missed it and I won't get my bfp. BUT I think the clomid worked, and that's awesome. I'm happy with that.

SO. I'm going to keep charting. Take my 50 mg of clomid. And in the meantime look for another doctor. I cannot see a doctor that is going to brush off my concerns and not listen to what I have to say about my own body. I'm not crazy, I'm my own rational person, who had valid rational points. He should hear me and be willing to work with me.

Thank you being awesome to me!

Sorry to hear that you are going through all this. I would start looking for a different dr too. I agree with Patrice, stick with the 50mg. It looks like it worked. Keep temping, I think they are full of s@#t for saying that about your chart. Best of luck to you!

I called the other place I was considering when I went to see the current doctor!
He is a 'fertility specialist' but is in an ob's office. So I think going to an actual fertility clinic is the best thing. I should have done it to begin with!!

    Going to: http://cnyfertility.com/

They have a long line for scheduling, but put us in for an appointment on Feb 25 at 2pm.

I'm going to keep doing my clomid because I really think it worked, and I have about 2 cyles till I go anyway. But I'm happy and excited at the possibilities if the clomid does NOT work before then.

So enough of me being dramatic. Have you gotten any promising opk tests Patrice?

Way to be positive!! I love it! I was checking out the site you posted, they sound awesome! Hopefully you'll get your BFP and won't have to go to them.. However if you do end up seeing them, I pray that they lead you to your healthy baby!

Afm: I'm having random cramps in my sides off and on.. Hope that's a good sign.. But I'm excited cuz it looks like my OPKs are getting darker! I'm tying to catch that gradient effect lol. I'll post a pic once I get a positive, which I hope I get soon!

OOOhhh you have a big dip!! I hope this means O is today or tomorrow and it shoots right up! (btw I had most of my O symptoms during and after O) Fingers crossed!

I actually had some spotting today. I have NEVER had any spotting EVER that was not my cycle starting. So that means that my body might have actually had a totally normal woman's cycle. I can barely contain my excitement on that!!! (it's sad what we excite ourselves over when our bodies don't work right isn't it??)
