    I like your Clomid blinkies!

    I o'd cd 16.

My doc said they start you with 50mg so your ovaries don't go overboard all at once.

Have been doing a ton of research because I can't help myself. lol
Apparently if it's a higher dose it can thin your lining, and dry up your cm, and overstimulate your ovaries. So they want a lesser amount if possible.

I was curious about which days, and why which days. I see that earlier in the cycle, it will give you more follies, and later in the cycle it will give much better quality eggs. Kind of interesting really.

It really is amazing how long a month can feel when you are ttc. It's really really hard to wait 'just one month' to try the next thing.

Today is my last provera day. I just hope that af shows fast. I know, I know. I keep saying that!! lol

Btw, provera is making me moody. I didn't know that would happen, but i guess it's a side effect?

With my first pregnancy it took two cycles of clomid. I had two cycles this Spring/summer with it and it didn't work. I don't even think I o'd with one of them.

So, guess i'm just saying that you may not get pg with the first cycle. I pray you girls do, tho!!!

I heard clomid can dry you up, so I was thinking about taking EPO (evening primrose oil) to get ewcm.. Aren't you supposed to take it cd 1 until you O??

take evening primrose oil or take clomid cycle day 1? I hadn't heard of primrose oil, but I have heard of girls taking the robitussin. I would be curious to know if that is old wives tale, or if it really works.

The Dr I was going to at the time wanted to start monitoring me while I was on it. But insurance wouldn't cover that until September. That dr ended up going to another facility that my ins. didn't cover anyway. I don't know why I waited until oct to find another dr.

As far as it drying you up, it does. I used Preseed to help with that. I've heard that Robitusin works, you just have to be careful as which one you get.

Haha, i'm not one to ask why you didn't get to the dr. I didn't get my butt moving for 3 years... I was just paranoid, and wanting to get 12 cycles in no matter how long it took. I thought I would need that to get help. But now it's been 20 cycles, so no need to worry there. I def should have done this sooner!
