Hello, I'm on my first month of clomid. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant with our 2nd child for over a year. Our 1st is almost 3 and it only took 5 months to get pregnant with her. So it's making the 2nd go around very frustrating. I ovulate every month and his swimmers are good, so we're trying to boost our chances!

I took my last clomid 50mg pull this morning. When do the side effects kick in? Or have any of you really noticed any side effects?

Hi Jami I really hope the clomid does the trick for you!
On the 50 I had a couple of hot flashes just after I stopped taking it. I had some wicked mood swings too. I hope yours arent' very bad!!

Hi Jaimi, I am in the same spot, though been TTC #2 for 18 months now with an almost 3 year old who was conceived on the first try. I have no experiences with Clomid however so can't help there, my doctor is sending us straight for IUI seeing as I clearly ovulate and have text book cycles and hubby's SA was great

It does seam strang how dr's do things differently. We've been ttc for 18 months as well. We'll see if it is enough. Mood swings have started today, my poor husband!

Ok, I started my "high fertility" days according to physical symptoms and the clearblue digital. Here's to the next several days :livebed: I was having twin dreams last night. Ahhh!! Lol, those are chances that we took....

    Anyone else still trying?

Jami, have you and DH been tested? DH and I went through a serious of tests. I had an HCG to see if my tubes were blocked where they found endometriosis. DH had a sperm analysis. Talk to your doctor and see if he will send you for those. Good luck

I'd suggest getting some testing done too. It doesn't matter what the clomid does if you have a blocked tube.

Keep in mind though, that some drs will have you do three cycles on the clomid before they test further. It took me a few tries on it.
    Good luck to you!!
