Just dropping by to check on everyone. I think I'm friends with a lot of you on Facebook, but if I'm missing anyone, let me know so I can add you. I'm better about keeping my FB account updated with stuff about the boys! ;o)
Hope everyone is doing GREAT!! By the way, the pic in my signature is our most recent family pic. Garrett is now 3 months old and doing FANTASTIC! He eats like crazy and is ALMOST rolling over. He did it once, but we think it was just a fluke, so we're not counting it. But when he's on his tummy, he really works hard to flip over, so I don't think it will be long now. And other than his two surgery scars, you would never know that he has Spina Bifida. He's so active, smiley, happy, etc. And he is constantly moving his legs and doesn't like it when I mess with his feet and toes. But that's ok...I'm just happy that he can feel me messing with him!
And big brother Trey is so much fun these days. He talks CONSTANTLY and he's so expressive. We're attempting to transition to his toddler bed now and so far, it isn't going as well as I would like, but we just started the process, so I'm trying to be patient. Otherwise, he's really growing up and the only downside to that is...he's starting to become his daddy's boy. They are BEST FRIENDS. Granted, he's at home all day with me, but he talks about Daddy all of the time. Oh well...I knew it was just a matter of time. Good thing Garrett still thinks I'm Numero Uno! ;o)
It's been probably over a year since I've been here. I could no longer login under my former username and password, so I came up with a new one. My username used to be givemegrace and my name is Christy. My new user name is givengrace and my name is still Christy.
Anyways, my husband was promoted a year ago and we moved from Kansas City, MO to the Dallas, TX area. The kids are adjusting great to the new change. We do miss having the grandparents around though. Ethan started Kindergarten and is doing great. I love hearing him read books to me and seeing him write. He even writes me little loves notes. He will be 6 this June.
Ava is 16 months old now! The time sure does fly. She is so busy all the time. She does not nap well at all, but sleeps great at night (7pm to 7 am). She loves playing tea party and dolls and pushing her dolls in a little stroller and reading books. She's a little lady!
So that's about it in a nutshell. I don't know if y'all remember me or not, but I still remember you.

Well I am not sure who all remembers me but here is my little clomid baby - After two m/c and an ectopic pregnancy I was blessed with my Madison
I know it is hard to continue sometimes month after month but just try to not loose faith it WILL happen!
- 11/18/08, 12/21/08, 04/13/09 ectopic
i just popped over to this board after not visiting for a while. i do lurk here still though. believer - i'm so happy for you! what a beautiful little girl!
my clomid miracle is 16 months old and doing great! teething has been a PITA and he's not much of a napper but other than that he's awesome
i wish there were words of support that i could say to everyone to make the TTC struggle a little better. but all the "it'll happen" and "hang in there" spiels can get very annoying after a while. believe me, i know. just...don't give up hope.
Blast from the past. Not officially a Clomie grad since we decided to go the way of adoption but I wanted to check in and say hi and see how everyone is doing!
My name is Austin and I was a regular on here a couple of years ago. We were blessed with our son through domestic adoption. Carter turned 1 on November 17th, I can't believe it has already been a year! He is an amazing little guy, we are loving every minute! He started walking last Saturday and is doing great! We had his one year check-up yesterday and, other than the fact that he screamed the whole time, he continues to be a healthy little guy!
For all of those ladies out there still waiting, hoping, and praying, hang in there. We found our path through adoption but take to heart all of the great stories on here from the ladies who found their families through Clomid or other medical interventions. It WILL happen, one way or another. Listen to and follow your heart and always, always, have faith.
I have attached some pictures of the little guy. One is from his birthday and the others are from a photo shoot we did with Pheobe Denton Photography! She is great if anyone is in South Florida and wants photos!
I am on Facebook and would love to connect with any of you on there as well!
Sending love to all of those ladies who helped me through my struggles to become a family and love also to those of you that I don't know, I keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers!
