Hi there :) I'm a newbie to Clomid

Hi I'm Vanessa. DH and I are trying for our 1st together (I have a 4yr old daughter from a previous relationship that he is adopting).

We've been trying for 14 cycles, and today the specialist has diagnosed me with "unexplained infertility."

Pretty sucky. So now he's going to start me on Clomid to help boost my eggy count (I am O'ing every month but he want's to boost it up) because he recommends IUI. Not particularly excited about it but I'm trying to be optimistic.

So I guess I'm just kinda wondering what to expect? Also, do any of you ladies know of any ideas to help my cm become less "hostile"? He say's to go ahead and try this month anyway since we have to wait for AF to show b4 he can start all the IUI stuff, and even though we only have a 3% chance of getting preggo it's worth a shot. We're going to try mucinex and pre-seed, but do you know of anything else?

I think that the mucinex and preseed should help significantly.......I am trying robitussin and I honestly feel that it has helped alot!!! Good luck ( =
