So I obviously know that there is an increased risk for multiples with Clomid but does anyone know about with Femara?
I was reading someone's siggy and it mention they had 2 follicles. Does that mean 2 possible eggs could be released at the same time? Or is it the bigger of the 2 follicles will be released? I'm not sure how this works and I'm sure my doc will tell me when I go in for my u/s next week.
Also, my u/s was supposed to be on CD 12 but he won't be there that day so I'm going in on CD 11. Is that still going to be okay?
Yes there is an increased risk of mulitples even on Femara. I had my first femara cycle cancelled becuase I had six right sized follicles on my first u/s on day 12. My second cycle (decreased amount of femara) I had two perfect sized follicles. If you are given a HCG injection it will mature and trigger all follicles that are around 18+mm.
As for the right day, yes I have gone in anywhere from day 11 to 13 for my first scan. With the earlier days I have been instructed to either come back in a day or two for another scan or trigger 24hours later and back in two days for the IUI.
