I had a CD12 U/S yesterday morning and the doc finally called me this morning. I took 5mg femara days 5-9. I am ovulating from my right side. Apparently there are 2 follicles on the right side and one on my left. The left side is too small. So I'm definitely going to O within the next 4 days. I'm to DTD every other day. She said tonight (CD13) and CD 15 & 17. Problem is I DTD yesterday on day 12, so I'm on an even schedule instead on odd days like she recommended. She said not to do it every day because that make the sperm quality bad and we want lots of good healthy swimmers. Would you wait until CD 15 to DTD again or would you just stay on CD12, 14, 16, 18 schedule? Anyway I'm totally excited that I'm going to O! Just wish I was DTD on the right days!! Arg!

I don't think it would matter too much if it was every other day even numbers or odd numbers as long as it's every other day. My doc told me the same thing when I was on clomid and we just started DTD somewhere around CD10 and DTD every other day until after we were sure I had O'd. I haven't been to an RE yet so I'm not sure if their advice would be different but I don't see how it would matter too much if it was even days or odd days. I would think it especially wouldn't matter because they don't know for sure which day you're going to O on. They just know it'll be in the next 4 days. I may be wrong but that's probably what I would do if it was me. Hope it works out for you and you get your BFP soon. Good luck!

Also, what do you think of Femara? I'm going to an RE soon to hopefully get on that since Clomid was horrible for me. How are the side effects?

I'm with Leah on this. I don't think it matters as long as it is every other day. Some women also did it every day, but their husbands didn't have problems with sperm count or mobility. Good luck

Thanks everyone!!

As far as the Femara, I've had no side effects! It's awesome. I took it when I concieved my son. Clomid didn't work at all for me. I had a few side effects on that!

Good luck sweetie! I hope the Femara works for you this cycle and you get your BFP! Thanks for letting me know about the Femara. I'm really hoping to get on that next. The Clomid was just so awful. Keeping my fingers crossed for ya!
